This is a fantastic business development opportunity within Sky Business's Mid Market organisation. We deliver solutions leveraging our extensive UK-wide network, working with a wide range of partners and our parent company, Comcast Business, to meet our customers' needs now and in the future.
What you'll do:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Lead the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, industries, and markets.
- Moving at Pace: Multitask efficiently, identify quick wins within the prospect base, qualify leads, and close deals.
- Accountability: Forecast accurately and deliver commitments, playing a key role in driving sales to close.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, collaborate with the wider business, and ensure offerings meet customer needs.
- Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts aligned with client needs and company goals.
- Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, sales cycle, and performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Manage team performance, set clear KPIs, motivate team members, and ensure responsibilities are met.
- Resilience: Adapt strategies as needed and encourage creative problem solving.
What you'll bring:
- Proven success in delivering high-volume telecoms deals into Mid-Market businesses.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other business tools.

Work Environment:
