We are currently looking for experienced DevOps Engineers. You will work as a member of an engineering team to facilitate the deployment and management of software services, and with operations staff to optimise the availability of the systems underpinning those services.
As a DevOps Engineer at Gemba your primary responsibilities will be, but not limited to, the following:
- Build automated infrastructure and processes to facilitate the work of the development team
- Build continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software delivery
- Set up operational tooling and observability infrastructure
- Identify security risks and deploy measures to mitigate them
- Identify problems and take steps to resolve and remove them
- Automate and improve development and release processes
At Gemba our tech stacks can vary project to project, and so we are open to candidates for a variety of backgrounds. Here are some of the tools and technologies we work with across our projects:
- Cloud: AWS and OpenShift.
- IAC: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Containerisation: Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- CI/CD: GitLab and Jenkins
- Scripting: Python and Bash

Note: For this role it is essential that you can obtain a DV security clearance. This role will be 3 to 4 days a week in office in central London.
