We’re searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll take ownership of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and resilient, while enabling faster, more reliable software delivery through automation and modern DevOps practices.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with developers and support teams, driving improvements in performance, stability, and efficiency. If you enjoy solving complex challenges, optimising systems under load, and building smart automation, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, optimising to support growth and trading demands.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automated environment provisioning.
- Ensure robust logging, monitoring, and alerting across all critical systems.
- Apply cloud security best practices, reviewing access controls, patching, and architecture.
- Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring learnings feed back into stability improvements.
- Collaborate with development and support teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with evolving business needs.
- Recommend and implement tools that improve visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience working with AWS environments at scale.
- Proven software development experience in a commercial setting.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, reliability, and compliance.
- A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Clear communicator with the ability to document and share knowledge.

Salary: £40,376 - £43,252
Location: Accu HQ, Hope Bank Works, Holmfirth, Huddersfield, HD9 6PT (Hybrid, UK-based with regular office attendance).
