Position Overview
Director Audit & Compliance will be reporting into the VP Finance, EMEA. Your role will take ownership of managing the reporting of monthly results across five entities. The role holder will provide a summary and analysis of the results for review prior to the close, take responsibility for the uploading and checking of the results in the Group Consolidation system and support Balance Sheet and Statutory Accounts work. In addition, all manner of FP&A reporting will be your responsibility to download, create, upload and manage, including budget, quarterly reports and impromptu business info.
What you’ll do as the Director Audit & Compliance
- Lead and manage the Reporting, VAT, and Compliance Team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all deliverables.
- Serve as the senior Finance lead for EMEA operations within the Pakistan office, acting as the primary liaison with Group Finance and regional stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting of subsidiary entities, ensuring adherence to statutory, regulatory, and group reporting standards.
- Manage the full monthly reporting cycle, including detailed balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of the annual group budget, coordinating with business units and senior management.
- Support the development of departmental and project-level budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial targets.
- Deliver monthly group financial and management reports, providing value-added commentary and insights for decision-making.
- Drive the quarterly forecasting and planning process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Develop, track, and present quarterly internal KPIs and performance dashboards to senior leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Parent Companies, maintaining compliance with international accounting standards.
- Strengthen internal controls, processes, and governance frameworks to achieve efficient and reliable financial close cycles.
- Partner with the Finance Manager on KPI management, balance sheet integrity, and process improvements.
- Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts, coordinate with auditors, and oversee successful completion of external audits.
- Provide oversight of payroll and employee expense processes, ensuring compliance with group policies and local regulations.
- Contribute to risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks across the business.
What you will bring to the team
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in audit, compliance, corporate reporting, and financial leadership.
- Proven track record of leading finance teams in multinational or EMEA environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Working within a Shared Service Unit business.
- Previous experience in corporate reporting within an SME or mid-cap business is advantageous.

- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) for financial insights.
- In-depth knowledge of EMEA VAT and taxation frameworks.
- Familiarity with UK and Netherlands payroll regulations.
