Find out more here at www.rockwallet.com.About the RoleThe Director, Human Resources is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for shaping and executing our global people strategy while cultivating a culture of high performance, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and serving as a key member of the executive management team, this individual will lead a team of HR professionals to develop, implement, and optimize policies, programs, and practices that support our distributed workforce. The Director, Human Resources, will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our global organization by aligning talent strategies, driving employee engagement, and managing HR-related KPIs that measure organizational effectiveness and success.This role is remote with a preference for applicants based in Canada and in the Eastern Time Zone (ET).Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals across all regions, fostering operational excellence and collaboration.Develop and execute a comprehensive global people strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and company values.Design and oversee the implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.Develop, track, and manage HR-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness, employee satisfaction, retention, and organizational performance.Implement talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning to strengthen the organization’s capabilities.Manage and enhance performance management systems, guiding senior leaders on employee development, feedback, and performance improvement.Partner closely with the COO and executive team to align organizational structure, competencies, and talent pipelines to support business growth.Ensure compliance with global labour laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies and ethical guidelines.Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee relations frameworks that are competitive, equitable, and support retention.Leverage HR analytics to provide actionable insights that inform data-driven decisions and continuous improvement of HR processes.Champion and support employee engagement and retention programs that contribute to high morale and productivity.Supports projects and initiatives to address employee survey feedback, responsible for delivering against our action plans and driving culture change.Qualifications10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role in a globally distributed organization.Demonstrated success in leading high-performing, cross-regional HR teams and driving strategic HR initiatives.Proven experience as an HR leader in a startup or high-growth environmentDeep knowledge of HR strategy, organizational design, performance management, and culture transformation.Expertise in HR analytics and the ability to develop and track relevant KPIs for continuous improvement.Strong understanding of international employment law and HR compliance in multiple jurisdictions.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with proven executive influence.Strategic mindset paired with proven ability to execute and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.Why Join us?Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageJoin a mission-driven organization making a measurable impactBe part of a team that values curiosity, creativity, and initiativeMeaningful work that directly contributes to organizational successRemote work arrangementsDiverse and dynamic work environmentWork-life balance and support for career developmentHow to Apply: Please submit your resume in our preferred file – .PDF not in .DOC.We thank all interested applicants; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.RockWallet, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Veterans/Disabled/LGBT and Affirmative Action employer.
