Document Verification is a core part of our product offering and a significant revenue-generating line of business within the company. We ensure we are developing this product in the right direction given a quickly evolving market and regulatory landscape.

The key focus of this role is to help us make the right strategic choices in a crowded and evolving marketplace. It is a highly automated product, leveraging deep AI/ML practices. This role is suitable for someone who understands product platform trade-offs, can analyze complex products, and numerically manage funnel economics. It may best suit someone with a background in B2B SaaS and platform technology. It requires a highly analytical mindset that links details to first principles. You should love problem-solving and be able to mentor a group of high-performing Product Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy for the future of this product, considering market needs, regulatory requirements, and funnel economics/value drivers.
  • Define how to modularise and monetise the platform going forward.
  • Collaborate with the AI R&D team to define the next frontier and stay on the front foot in this market.
  • Work with Sales and Customer teams to understand key product requirements based on customer feedback, market needs, and business objectives; gain buy-in from these teams on the roadmap.
  • Understand key metrics and make data-driven decisions; collaborate with Analytics for a single source of truth.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
  • Work with Compliance teams to understand regulatory needs and support compliant programmes in key markets.
  • Mentor and guide product managers and team members.

Essential Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with experience in platform products and/or B2B SaaS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of managing the lifecycle of a complex product.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Identity Verification, Fraud, or Financial Services.
  • Experience monetizing platform offerings.
  • Experience in regulated markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Note: This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our London office.

Benefits (UK)

  • Two paid volunteering days per year.
  • Bupa Private Medical and Dental Insurance.
  • Pension with The People’s Pension (employer contribution 4% of base salary).
  • Generous paid parental leave.
  • Life enrichment allowance of up to £80 per month for services including gym, yoga, fitness classes, massages, childcare, and therapy.
  • Dedicated learning opportunities using tools like LinkedIn Learning and access to books, coaches, conferences, courses, podcasts, and more.
  • Open and transparent culture with the “Better Together” motto; weekly global roundup, quarterly team socials, and other company-wide events.
