The Corporate Development team is responsible for decisions around deploying capital to grow the company through strategic investments and acquisitions across cryptocurrency, fintech, and software. We are looking to add an impactful professional who can help the team execute this global mandate.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the cryptocurrency industry, is meticulous in their analysis, methodical, creative, and thorough in their problem-solving approach, and can build and grow relationships with internal and external partners.
Develop unique perspectives on key categories and companies in the crypto ecosystem, curate related research and market intelligence, identify critical shifts and evolving trends, and communicate their implications to stay at the forefront of new developments.
# Establish strong external relationships within the crypto and blockchain community of entrepreneurs and investors.
# Develop key internal processes and artifacts for the corporate development function, including data-driven acquisition performance and backtesting against investment theses.
# Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for planning strategy, investing, and integration efforts.
# Partner with Business Development to forge alliances that promote Ripple’s products and services.
# 8+ years in corporate development or related fields such as investment banking, management consulting (preferably in corporate finance), or venture capital.
~ Experience building and leading teams.
~ Strong financial modeling skills, including market data models, three-statement analysis, and valuation.
~ Comfort operating in unstructured environments and devising creative deal structures.
~ Strong understanding of blockchain technology and traditional financial services.
