At Albatross, we’re building the second pillar of AI: a perception layer that understands how users actually experience content in real time. Trained on live user interactions, Albatross learns and reasons on the fly, powering real‑time, in‑session discovery that adapts to evolving user interests. Our platform already operates at scale, processing billions of events and serving hundreds of millions of predictions each month.

The Role

This is a high‑impact, builder role. Albatross has raised significant funding and established a robust, scalable platform that delivers measurable revenue impact for customers. With integrations deployable in weeks, we’re ready to accelerate growth and are looking for a sales leader who can make that happen.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale new customer acquisition across key markets by shaping the go‑to‑market strategy and building a focused sales playbook.
  • Provide vision and direction, identify new business opportunities, and stay ahead of industry developments to position the company for future growth.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Represent Albatross at industry events and client meetings.
  • Collaborate across teams and translate customer insights and market trends into actionable product and strategy input.
  • Report to the CEO; lead, motivate, and develop a small team of high‑performing Sales Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of proven success in B2B sales, driving growth and exceeding targets across AI‑driven digital personalization markets.
  • Strong network within eCommerce and online marketplaces, with a proven ability to secure meetings with key decision‑makers at top target companies.
  • Data‑focused and well‑versed in the ecosystem of personalization, search, and machine learning.
  • Strategic yet hands‑on leader with experience in small, agile teams; thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments that require adaptability, collaboration, and decisive action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across regions for client and partner meetings.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in at least one other major European language.
