As a Director on the Client Strategy team, you will lead the evolution of client deals, RFPs, and strategic projects that drive growth across multiple client segments and use cases. The Global VD Client Strategy team is a catalyst for business rhythm, rapidly mobilizing to lead high priority, time‑sensitive initiatives that connect regional needs to product and network teams. Your work will deepen client engagement, drive operational excellence, and unlock new opportunities through AI tools such as chatbots and automated RFP repositories.

Core Responsibilities
- Regional RFP Support
- Create and share best practices to enhance RFP response efficiency, including training regional teams on tools, templates, and strategies that improve win rates and elevate response quality.
- Collaborate with regional teams to refine, standardize, and streamline RFP processes, ensuring adoption of proven methods and smooth coordination on large‑scale, high‑value opportunities.
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance metrics, identifying process gaps, and implementing improvements that consistently deliver high‑quality submissions on time with reduced operational strain. - AI Application
- Collaborate with technology teams on a regular cadence to review AI capabilities, share feedback from end‑users, and align on product roadmap priorities that enhance AI application efficiency.
- Identify and expand AI use cases beyond word and excel RFP response, exploring PowerPoint pitch decks, executive summaries, agentic AI for RFP project management, and other process automation opportunities.
- Host regional office‑hour sessions to provide hands‑on seller training, address user questions, and demonstrate the latest RFP best practices.
- Maintain and update training materials on corporate knowledge platforms (e.g., Compass, Visa University), ensuring documentation reflects current functionalities, best practices, and user tips for effective RFP response. - Content Strategy & Management
- Develop and maintain a structured RFP content repository by partnering with cross‑functional teams, organizing and consolidating historical RFP responses, product documentation, and Visa‑related materials into an AI‑ready, easily accessible database.
- Implement a content governance framework to define ownership, support models, and scope of RFP‑related content, ensuring accuracy and alignment throughout the organization.
- Continuously optimize content quality and accessibility through periodic reviews, metadata tagging, and version control, enabling faster and more consistent RFP responses.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 8 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8‑10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
- 8‑10 years of business experience in Payments, Corporate & Investment Banking, Technology, or Consulting organizations.
- Track record of developing and communicating strategy, building relationships across teams and key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Excellent verbal and written skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and business issues to a variety of stakeholders.
- Can‑do attitude and willingness to move a program forward.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and synthesize data.
- Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to executive‑level audiences.
- Ability to build credibility, influence, and negotiate at the highest levels within core segment organizations.
- Sense of urgency and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment.
