About the Role
The trials team at Verian UK is growing. We’ve had some fantastic new wins recently, building on an already strong market position, and are looking for a talented Senior Director to join us. Specialising in the design and delivery of field trials, as well as preparatory research including pilot studies and literature reviews, the Senior Director will work across areas and projects for large clients such as the UK Government and What Works Centres. This exciting new role has real opportunity for further growth and development.
What You’ll Do
The Senior Director will play a key role in the team with a broad range of responsibilities, which will span the design and oversight of randomized controlled trials (with impact evaluation and implementation and process evaluation), producing research outputs, and helping to win new work by contributing to proposals and pitches. You will also play an important part in helping to coach and develop a talented team, while thriving in a fast-paced agency environment, overseeing the delivery of multiple projects at a time.
The role is compatible with a wide range of research skills including analysis, surveys and qualitative research, so we’d like to hear what your skills are and how they help you do a first-rate job.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in designing and delivering field trials, with a good understanding of the technical principles underpinning trial design
Ability to work with clients and stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality trials
Ability to manage, guide and support multiple project teams who are responsible for day-to-day delivery
Excellent writing skills, including highly detailed technical reports that remain accessible to a general reader
Ability to deliver effectively under pressure of deadlines, and to allocate time efficiently across multiple projects and proposals
A Bonus If You Also Have
Experience of tender/RFP documents and writing proposals
Expertise in a particular policy area(s)
Why Verian?
Work on socially meaningful projects in a supportive, collaborative environment
Hybrid working and flexible arrangements
