If so, Arrow Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Value-add Services Director for the European region.This position will be responsible for leading the strategic and tactical planning for Arrow value-added business in EMEA. This includes but is not limited to supporting the growth of our device programming business, end-to-end ownership of the outsourced service business, and advanced manufacturing services, as well as oversight and support of the AIS business in the region.
This position serves as an integral member of the management team to drive innovation, customer experience, gain market share, improve productivity, and enhance profitability and cash flow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide strategic direction, and leadership across diverse teams in multiple related businesses to drive competitive advantage
Be accountable for managing the specific P&L's for each of the organizations and ensuring all metrics are achieved or re-calibrated strategically.
Develop key strategic and tactical working relationships with leaders to facilitate information sharing and shared accountability in a matrix-based business
Assign activities and projects to meet various customer, supplier, and distribution needs.
Measure and monitor progress on deliverables to ensure best in class service
Capture, report and understand the various costs and cost drivers to implement improvement programs where synergies exist among all value-add businesses.
Develop customer and supplier (EMS) relationships to enable the expansion of business in Europe
Maintain an understanding of all core business processes for your supported business group and drive initiatives for continuous improvements and processes.
Work as a “business partner” to build relationships, understand needs, and offer solutions through collaboration with key functional leaders in finance, operations, sales, etc.
Support qualifying leads and understand customer processes, issues, and costs to determine how Arrow’s services can deliver value to customers
Maintain knowledge of and ensure all operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations (DOT, HIPAA, etc.).
Build a talent pipeline and enhance the skills of the organization (e.g., process engineering, materials management, forecasting and scheduling, supplier management)
What We Are Looking For:
Proven track record of creating high performance teams
Typically requires a minimum of 15-yrs experience and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering or related field; or 12-yrs and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
Strong financial management skills including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
In-depth knowledge of EMS, PCBA, PCB, and device programming services
Strong understanding of supply chain management
Must be able to travel regionally 30% of the time
