Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for an Editor in Chief. The Editor in Chief will be responsible for overseeing the content production process, managing a team of writers, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of published articles. Day-to-day tasks include assigning topics, editing and proofreading content, coordinating with contributors, and developing content strategies to enhance reader engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Editing and Proofreading
• Strong skills in Content Strategy and Content Management
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Familiarity with Digital Publishing and SEO practices
• Prior experience in managing and coordinating a team
• Passionate about Liverpool Football Club and knowledgeable about football
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field is a plus

This is a voluntary role with an aim to become paid.
