Service Care Solutions is currently working with a Local Authority in Northamptonshire who are seeking an experienced SEN / Education Lawyer to join their friendly and supportive legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable legal professional to take on a rewarding role providing specialist advice and representation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education Law matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload of SEN and Education Law matters.
• Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to the Council and internal stakeholders.
• Preparing and conducting SEND Tribunal hearings and case management.
• Working collaboratively with education and social care colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
• Weekly pay – rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
• Flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in SEN and Education Law. (Local authority or public sector experience preferred.)
