Overview
Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority based in Wales who are seeking to hire an Education/SEN lawyer on a rolling contract for 6 months to start ASAP. The position would require someone to attend irregular court hearings, aside from that the post can be worked on a fully remote basis.
Responsibilities
- Attend irregular court hearings as required.
- Work remotely where possible, with the option for on-site attendance if needed.
- Hold a diverse caseload including SEN appeals, exclusions, tribunals, s4441s and U.K. Judgments/Reviews (JR).
- Conduct non-contested hearings.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years PQE.
- Previous experience with SEN appeals, exclusions, tribunals.
- Experience managing a diverse caseload including s4441s and JRs.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a small team.
- Prior local authority experience is preferable, but not essential.
