Operating from 6 strategically placed UK offices, they offer a full range of building services design and engineering solutions across Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustainability sectors. The business has a proven track record of delivering high-quality services across various industry sectors.

An employee-focused organization, committed to investing in and nurturing its people. Due to the acquisition of major projects in the Healthcare and Commercial Sectors, the business is looking to attract Electrical Building Services Design Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules.
• Contribute to BREEAM or equivalent legislation compliance.
• Witness testing, proving, and commissioning procedures of final installations.
• Work effectively to internal and external project programs.
• Adhere to company Quality Assurance management systems.
• Support Senior/Associate Engineers and Management.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external design team members.
• Undertake non-intrusive surveys of existing installations.
• Conduct main plant area spatial allowance exercises.
• Keep industry knowledge up to date with new legislation, standards, regulations, product development, and technology.
• Attend and contribute to design team and project meetings.
• Study towards chartership and maintain CPD requirements.
• Liaise with lead/support engineers to ensure discipline designs meet quality and schedule expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders involved in your work.
• Manage personal duties including weekly timesheets.
• Comply with security procedures and confidentiality restrictions.

Education and Experience

• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of HNC/D in engineering or equivalent.
• Alternatively, suitable construction site-based experience with a recognized electrical apprenticeship.
