We have a requirement for an experienced Electrical Fitter. You will be working with a busy team in the manufacture of machinery used within a variety of manufacturing environments. This role will require extensive travel and time away (c60/70%) due to installations and relevant install time frames. You will require a Passport.

Responsibilities

• Build and install control panels, sensors, and associated fixtures using schematics.
• Electro-mechanical assembly.
• Prepare wiring including cable/loom assembly, crimping, and soldering.
• Fault finding and testing.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems.

The Person

• Electrical engineering qualification.
• Current electrical standards certification.
• Extensive wiring experience with automation machinery and conveyors (essential).
• Electrical fitter background.
• Experience with site installations.
• Preparation of cables and looms, including crimping and soldering.
• Ability to read engineering and wiring drawings.
• Computer literacy.
• PLC programming experience (beneficial).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Willing to work away (c60/70% of the time on-site in UK and Europe).
• Passport required.
• Additional payments for overtime and site installation could add £10-£15k++.
