Overview

Electrician (Renewable Energy instructor) position with GTEC Training, part of United Infrastructure. We are seeking Freelance Electrical Trainers/Instructors or tradespeople with background knowledge/qualifications in Renewable Energy who are looking to down tool or pick up extra work based in different locations around the UK. Sessions will depend on attendee numbers and location, but we will always aim to give you sessions closest to home.

GTEC Training delivers high-quality training and qualification services, including heat pump, solar PV, battery storage, solar thermal, biomass, EV charging and energy efficiency retrofit training from nationwide locations, including our own purpose-built centre and partner sites. We deliver industry-recognised qualifications from LCL Awards, City & Guilds and OFTEC, covering renewables and supporting electrical, plumbing and oil qualifications.

All centres feature state-of-the-art training rigs and bespoke on-site training for larger organisations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training for Renewable Energy courses (optional) including Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS), ASHP - Air Source Heat Pump, and Solar Thermal.
• Provide high-quality instruction to attendees at various UK locations, aligned to attendee numbers and location constraints.
• Adapt training delivery to meet course requirements and learner needs.

Qualifications

• Background knowledge or qualifications in Renewable Energy or related electrical trades.
• Willingness to travel to different locations in the UK and to deliver courses as required.
