Contract: 3 months (inside IR35)
Rate: £500 per day
Location: Hybrid – Central London (2–3 days onsite)

About The Company

Our client, a leading UK retail giant, seeks an experienced Interim Inclusion & Employee Experience Specialist to deliver a high-impact programme of work across Inclusion, Wellbeing, Engagement, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

Role Overview

Reporting into the senior HR leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping inclusive culture, developing employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring continuity of wellbeing programmes while permanent hires are finalised.

Key Deliverables

  • ERG (Employee Resource Group) Foundations
  • Develop ExCo sponsorship guidelines, onboarding packs, and governance toolkits.
  • Communications & Reporting
  • Partner with Comms & Change teams to create impactful updates for ExCo, Board, and wider colleagues.
  • Inclusion & Diversity Calendar
  • Lead internal engagement for the International Day of People with Disabilities (3rd Dec).
  • Data & Insights
  • Support creation of diversity dashboards and narrative insights.
  • Engagement & Wellbeing
  • Review survey results, wellbeing plans, and oversee campaigns, events, and communications.
  • Handover
  • Prepare a structured pack for incoming senior team members.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in Inclusion & Diversity, Colleague Experience, or Employee Engagement roles.
  • Strong background in HR projects within large, complex organisations.
  • Track record of delivering ERG frameworks, engagement strategies, or wellbeing initiatives.
  • Confident in stakeholder management at senior leadership and ExCo level.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working at pace with immediate impact.
  • Able to commit to an immediate start.
