The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Employment Associate or Senior Associate (3-6 PQE) to join the growing London office of this Top 10 international law firm.
You will advise clients on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, often within a fast-paced commercial context involving high value and complex cross-border matters.
Key areas of work include:
- Day to day advisory work for major corporate clients
- Employment aspects of commercial transactions, outsourcings and TUPE transfers
- Employment Tribunal, High Court, and appellate litigation
- Collective consultation matters, redundancies and industrial relations
- High-level investigations, including regulatory-related issues
- Strategic advice on regulatory change and compliance projects
You'll work closely with a highly experienced team of over 50 employment lawyers, while also collaborating across the firm's extensive international employment group on multi-jurisdictional matters.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified solicitor with 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in employment law (candidates just outside this range may also be considered)
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence advising high-profile corporate clients
- Excellent drafting, client relationship management and communication skills
- A collaborative and personable approach with a genuine enthusiasm for employment law
- A proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to the team's continued success
