Engineering Manager (Development (.NET)) - Remote - UK

This dynamic and exciting organisation requires an experienced Lead/Manager with Agile and AI experience. This role will oversee the shift from unmanaged workflows to structured, Agile practices, drive adoption of AI within the .NET ecosystem, and lead the Git-to-GitHub migration.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development teams in Agile environments and drive organizational transformation initiatives.
• Oversee the shift from unmanaged workflows to structured, Agile practices.
• Drive adoption of AI technologies within the .NET ecosystem and integrated database environments.
• Lead Git-to-GitHub migration with minimal disruption.
• Establish and track key development KPIs (cycle time, deployment frequency, CFR, etc.).
• Align team outputs with organizational strategy while managing global collaboration challenges.
• Manage cross-cultural, geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong background in .NET development, version control, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with AI adoption and integration; familiarity with ML.NET, ONNX Runtime, Semantic Kernel, and/or RavenDB AI capabilities.
• Performance measurement and process improvement experience (KPIs, process optimization).
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, and the ability to manage up with senior leadership.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and leadership skills for distributed teams.
• Exposure to managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Prior success in leading organizational transformation initiatives.
