What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading teams that analyse the engineering training needs of the RN crew and the BAE production and test & commissioning delivery teams.
  • Shaping the culture of the team and ensuring they are fully supported, engaged and performing to high standard.
  • Enabling the team to perform, creating the dynamics for effective team performance, including flow of communications, mentoring, influencing organisational design & ways of working.
  • Supporting the training requirements derivation & training needs analysis on programmes of work, including current and future Submarines programmes.
  • Business continuity management, including establishing training needs within the team.
  • People manager responsibilities, from line management to performance development, progression & succession planning.

Essential Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in delivering training services within the Defence Industry and other Industries.
  • DSAT Qualification held.
  • Demonstrable familiarity of Project Management and delivery of training needs analysis capability in a similar background/industry.
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Leading of Training Services Teams.

Desirable

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or other relevant professional affiliation.
