Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the Cloud Architecture domain within a large-scale, multi-agency environment. This is a strategic role at the heart of technology and business transformation, where you’ll define and drive architectural vision, influence investment decisions, and guide the delivery of innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the strategic vision and roadmap for cloud capabilities.
  • Lead and inspire a team of architects, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology domains.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies.
  • Influence investment cases and ensure alignment with architectural principles.
  • Define and maintain standards and patterns for cloud and operational domains.
  • Assure architectural outputs and mentor colleagues across the profession.

This role spans both technology and operational domains, requiring exceptional stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Experienced architect with a strong track record in leading architecture teams and setting strategic direction.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience mentoring and developing architectural talent.
  • Experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within or alongside public sector organisations.
  • Driving innovation and delivering value through emerging technologies.
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience is essential. Familiarity with government digital frameworks is a plus.

  • Hybrid – 2-3 Days Onsite
