We are currently recruiting for an Enterprise Data Architect to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at Intact.
Your Impact

We are implementing a demanding enterprise-wide data strategy that requires leadership, expertise and commitment to excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering a connected, managed enterprise data architecture that enables the vision for a winning data‑driven business.
Role Overview
As Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and evolving the enterprise data blueprint, ensuring it aligns with business goals and future capabilities. You will work closely with the Head of Data Strategy & Data Architecture and act yourself as a thought leader – influencing the direction of data architecture across the organization and contributing to the long‑term success of RSA’s data transformation.
Responsibilities
- Assess enterprise data requirements and translate them into actionable data guidance.
- Lead data architecture engagement across delivery portfolios, driving data planning and high‑level design.
- Define and apply data methodologies, patterns and standards for key capabilities such as data modelling, master and reference data management, data integration and the development of a cloud data platform.
- Partner with the Chief Data Office to enable a connected data capability end to end.
- Lead and inspire teams, formally or informally, providing vision, structure and support.
- Mentor colleagues in best practices and champion the evolving data culture of the company.
Skills & Experience
- Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable navigating diverse perspectives and challenging conversations, with professionalism, respect and composure.
- Enterprise Data Leadership: Demonstrated hands‑on experience in enterprise data architecture and data management, with solid understanding of data protection, software design and solution delivery.
- Team Leadership: Ability to lead teams toward impactful outcomes and shared success, with experience in managing resourcing, supporting team processes and scaling capacity through staff augmentation.
Technical Skills
- Data Modelling: Hands‑on experience with data modelling tools e.g. Erwin is required.
- Data Cataloguing: Experience with an enterprise data catalog, MS Purview is preferred.
- Cloud & Analytics Stack: Working knowledge of the Microsoft stack; Azure cloud, Databricks, Power BI; Azure ML and AI trends.
- Architecture Management: Experience with architecture asset management processes and tools.
