Environmental Incident Investigation Advisor

New Yesterday

We are seeking an Environment Incident Investigation Advisor to join our busy team. The team’s goal is to minimise the impact of Thames Water’s operations on the environment.

The purpose of the role is to thoroughly investigate and report on environmental incidents. By digging down to understand the underlying issues, you will use this insight to drive event learning throughout the business. This includes critical analysis and scrutiny of environmental and operational data. These improvement recommendations will involve influencing people you will work with every day, to change our ways of working to improve operational performance and reduce environmental harm.

A key activity is to engage and collaborate with our regulator, the Environment Agency, through effective and influential written communication. Your role is key to making sure we get the right information to them at the right time. Your reports will require you to include accurate, technical information and language.

For the right person, this is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career, enhance your skills, support colleagues, and apply your knowledge of data to solve practical problems. Your skills will be critical to help drive improvements across the business, inform business decisions and contribute to our turnaround plan.
