Working closely with operational teams, you’ll provide technical advice and ensure all environmental permitting requirements are met.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage environmental permit applications and variations for soil and waste treatment activitiesEnsure compliance with UK environmental permitting regulations and internal standardsLiaise with consultants, regulators, and internal teams to support permitting deliveryProduce reports and documentation to support operational decision-makingMonitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective action where requiredMaintain accurate records and ensure information is accessible across the teamConduct internal compliance audits and share actionable feedbackWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum 5 years’ experience in Waste, Remediation, or Contaminated LandIn-depth knowledge of UK environmental permitting regulations (essential)Ideally a member of a professional body (CIWM, IES, etc.)Strong communicator with the ability to liaise with regulators and stakeholdersOrganised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFlexible and collaborative approach to working across departmentsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwideIf this sounds like a role for you, apply now.
