Octavius Infrastructure are excited to be delivering Electrification and Plant (E&P) renewals across the North regions (North West & Central and Eastern regions). We seek a progressive Programme Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping our electrification strategy, overseeing projects from conception to completion. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
We are a leading provider to the rail and transportation sector delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
- Provide visionary leadership for electrification projects, ensuring they are executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our electrification offering.
- Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

About You…. (what You Are Skilled At)
- Proven experience in programme management, preferably within the infrastructure or electrification sectors.
- Familiarity with electrification systems, power distribution, and infrastructure development, including an understanding of relevant technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering projects within a framework environment.
- Previous experience working for a tier one contracting organisation
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, civil engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of electrification systems, power distribution, and related infrastructure, including familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
- Experience working in OLE infrastructure delivering E&P schemes.
- Experience working in 11kv or 33kv substations.
- Proven experience in Senior project management, especially in overseeing electrification projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainability.
