Overview
EPC Project Procurement Professional, 12 Month Contract, Build Next Generation Battery Storage Facility.
Immediate Requirement for an EPC - Project Procurement Professional. You will be responsible for managing the procurement activities including acquisition of all necessary materials, equipment, and services for a large-scale, complex battery storage facility, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, from engineering services through to construction.
This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, logistics coordination, and rigorous quality assurance to minimize risks like supply chain disruptions, price volatility, and compliance issues, ultimately supporting the EPC customer responsibility to deliver a completed project to the client.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction procurement and be comfortable negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. You will play a critical role in ensuring that materials and services are procured efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Skills
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for EPC contracts in alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet company standards and project requirements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to secure the best value for the company.
- Consult with project managers and engineers to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and budgets to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiencies.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, changes in the industry, and advancements in procurement technologies.
Location, Remuneration and Timeframe
- £500-650 per day (depending on experience), Inside IR35
- Travel to Offices Nationally 1 day a week
