Event Manager (Assessment)

We are seeking a highly organised, results driven individual to join our Trainee Pharmacist Assessment team and play a leading role in delivering high-profile national assessment events that help shape the future of pharmacy.

Interview dates: 16 – 17 September 2025 (GPhC offices)

Salary: Up to£50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits

Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working approach)

Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The Role

This is a newly created role at the heart of a newly combined team and presents a unique opportunity to use your event management skills in a role that directly impacts public safety and supports the next generation of pharmacists. You will be at the heart of ensuring assessments are run to the highest standards, are fair for candidates, and are professionally delivered across the UK.

You will oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of more than 80 registration assessment events across the UK twice a year. These events are the final step for trainee pharmacists to demonstrate their readiness to join the profession, making this role vital to public safety and the reputation of the GPhC.

This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.

We are a respected regulatory body that regulates pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacies in Great Britain. We work to assure and improve standards of care for people using pharmacy services.
