Events and Project Support Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
A position has arisen for an Events and Project Support Coordinator within the Careers Service’s Events and Projects team. This role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of events and specific project activities throughout the academic year in support of enhancing the student experience and contributing to The University of Manchester’s Graduate Outcomes. It involves working with recruiters, professional services colleagues, and students.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and execution of events, managing logistics, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with recruiters, professional services colleagues, and students to align event activities with student needs.
- Support the on-campus events, contributing to the hybrid working arrangement with at least two days a week on campus.
- Demonstrate highly developed organisation, communication and interpersonal skills as a strong and flexible team player.
Qualifications
- Experience and up-to-date knowledge of events organisation and management.
- Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong and flexible team player with demonstrated adaptability to hybrid working.
