Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement events and webcasts across EMEA and Latin America, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage end‑to‑end execution of physical, hybrid, and virtual events, including post‑event reporting.
  • Collaborate with channel marketing managers and regional sales teams to implement the events strategy within the allocated budget.
  • Maintain accurate event delivery and reporting; suggest improvements for efficiencies.
  • Identify key success metrics and monitor event performance.
  • Maintain a calendar of all events to align sales objectives with planned events.
  • Develop dedicated event microsites, email communications, advertising, and bespoke styling in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage the commission and supply of relevant promotional giveaways throughout the year.
  • Work with compliance to ensure all events adhere to regulatory guidelines and assets are compliant.
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as required.
  • Use industry experience to engage the audience, share knowledge, and enhance client experience.
  • Contribute to quarterly, monthly, and ad‑hoc reports and presentations for board, distribution management, and sales.
  • Ensure a seamless, engaging, and informative client experience.
  • Apply product knowledge, financial promotion principles, and compliance guidance to every event.
  • Travel across the UK, Europe, and North America as required.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of financial services marketing and events.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in events management, including design, implementation, and execution.
  • Strong influencing, diplomatic, and assertive skills.
  • Highly detail‑oriented and organised.
  • Exceptional time‑management skills.
  • Experience with virtual event platforms and video conferencing software.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Pardot, Salesforce, Workfront, or ON24.
  • Fluency in a second language (Italian, Spanish, German, or French).

Regulatory Responsibilities

You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable to your role.
