We’re now looking for a dynamic Events Executive to help us deliver world-class content and experiences that empower London’s innovators to scale internationally.

Purpose of the Role

As Events Executive, you’ll play a key part in designing and delivering the heartbeat of the Grow London Global programme. Working closely with our Events Manager and delivery team, you will help curate exceptional event experiences—from hands‑on workshops and peer‑to‑peer sessions to flagship moments like London Tech Week, Grow Summit, Europe Fast Tracks, and London Life Science Week. You’ll bring creativity, operational excellence and a passion for innovation to support hundreds of scaleups navigating global growth.

Key Tasks

  • Curate and deliver core programme content via face‑to‑face, hybrid and digital events such as workshops, office hours, networking sessions, and peer‑to‑peer activities.
  • Support the delivery of large‑scale flagship events, such as cohort launches, London Tech Week, Grow Summit, and London Life Science Week, contributing to planning, coordination, and on‑the‑day execution.
  • Assist the Programme Manager – Events with the end‑to‑end execution of Europe Fast Tracks, working closely with Senior Trade Managers and Trade Managers to deliver high‑quality European visits for cohort companies.
  • Support the delivery of the Pre‑Global programme, ensuring smooth operational execution and effective participant engagement.
  • Support the creation, communication and promotion of the core workstream content.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an engaging content strategy to nurture cohort companies, including planning, editing, and coordinating content for digital communication channels such as a bi‑weekly newsletter.
  • Support relationship management with Programme Partners and stakeholders,
  • Coordinate closely with the wider Grow London teams (Including Grow London and Grow Talent) to align activities, share information, and ensure a joined‑up approach across the wider organisation.
  • Maintain digital platforms used to support the operational execution of the Programme such as Eventbrite, Zoom, Salesforce and other platforms or applications.
  • Assist with the collection, collation, and analysis of data and feedback to evaluate programme effectiveness and inform improvements across delivery.
  • Identify, engage, and liaise with speakers, ensuring they are well‑briefed and supported throughout the event process.
  • Work with the finance team to raise purchase quotes and support general financial administration related to events and programme delivery.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to support the preparation and production of collateral and resources to facilitate the promotion and engagement of everything the Programme has to offer.
  • Working closely with the compliance team to maintain records as per grant guidelines including data collection for client activities, project reporting and feedback collection and collation.
  • Deliver ad hoc operational and administrative support for the wider team.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative ability to devise engaging communication strategies.
  • Experience of project‑based work.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Process driven with ability to work independently
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • An interest in economic development in London and an ability to pick up new subject
  • Experience of using online platforms such as Salesforce, Eventbrite and Zoom would be valuable.
  • Knowledge of grant funded programmes and experience of working with SMEs and/ or startups would be valuable.
