Job Description
Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to either our Winchester or London office once or twice a week. We offer:
- Up to £50,000 - £75,000
- 10% bonus
- 6% pension contribution

Accountabilities
- Manage internal/external resourcing, tools and capabilities required for the planning and execution of facilities operations
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party services, ensuring high performance and value for money
- Manage expenditure within facilities budgets, ensuring effective cost control and accurate financial planning
- Manage legal compliance with health and safety documentation, statutory regulations and standards across Arqiva portfolio of sites
- Address and resolve facilities related issues and incidents
- Maintain detailed records of facilities activities and performance
- Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and learning driven from KPI’s
- Provide operational support to project teams in the detailed delivery of all major capital projects
- Lead the team, aligning with Arqiva’s culture goals, developing skills and delivering sustainable results
- Foster clear communication across teams to encourage cross-functional understanding and knowledge sharing
- Drive innovation and cost savings with suppliers/partners to reduce cost base and enhance service levels
- Support KPI reporting, gap analysis and improvement plans with suppliers
- Support risk management processes within the department
- Assist in setting Arqiva building strategy, policy and process
- Coordinate audits, site inspections and maintenance to ensure safety, maintenance and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures
- Implement energy management initiatives to achieve sustainability and cost reduction targets
Skills
- Budget management: ability to manage project and team budgets
- Communication: collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical information and provide training or support
- Project management: manage multiple projects or tasks and meet deadlines
- Project planning: create project schedules, allocate resources, define milestones and track progress
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Facilities management: proficiency with facilities management software and tools
- Health and safety: knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Leadership and management: influencing, decision making, empathy, communications and adaptability
- Time management: prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Experience
- Substantial experience in facilities management or related field
- Extensive experience managing third-party service providers and contracts
- Strong understanding of maintenance, energy management and physical security practices
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
