Field Applications Scientist – Hampshire – Equipment

About the Company:

We are looking for a scientist or engineer to join a specialist equipment company providing cleaning, sterilisation and decontamination services. This field-based role requires flexibility as there is significant European travel. The purpose of this role is to visit clients with the relevant equipment and carry out the services required.

Responsibilities:

• Customer service and support.
• Equipment set up, usage and close down.
• Project planning and delivery.
• Testing.
• Ensuring equipment is kept in good working order.
• Completing documentation to required standard.
• Mentoring and training.
• Relationship building.
• Extensive driving and travel.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Full UK driving license.
• Passport.
• Attention to detail.
• Hands-on technical experience (science or engineering).
• Ability to travel extensively and with minimal notice.
• An understanding of GMP and/or GLP.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Degree in science or engineering.
