We need you!

We’re looking for a Field Sales Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding sales team. This role is within our retail channel, managing and building on our strong independent customer base in London/South/SEast/SWest areas. With the significant year-on-year growth we see at tonies, there is a huge amount of potential here!

Your responsibilities:

  • Being part of sales team driving best practice and improved sales performance in the retail channel
  • Converting prospects into successful, long term customers using sales methods such as emailing, face to face, cold calling and presentations
  • Grow tonies sales in existing and new accounts
  • Visiting customers on a regular basis and evaluating customers’ needs
  • Representing the business at trade shows & demo events
  • Develop strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Effectively leverage our brand and marketing plans with customers
  • Day to day customer admin, support & account management
  • Assist where needed with merchandising requirements within our key accounts
  • Ad-hoc tasks as requested by line manager
  • Opportunities to expand the role to take on larger accounts as the role grows

  • Proven experience in a Field Sales role or similar environment
  • Strong communication skills — confident engaging with a wide range of people
  • Skilled in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Effective negotiator with the ability to overcome objections
  • Self-motivated and proactive — able to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding targets
  • Problem-solving mindset with a positive, solutions-focused approach
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face sales
  • Tech-savvy — proficient in Excel, Google Drive, Outlook, and CRM/sales systems
  • Confident using data and performance metrics to inform decisions
  • Open to feedback with a growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for sales
  • Able to travel daily across the South region, with regular overnight stays
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
