OverviewField Service Engineer - South EastLocation: Field-based, covering Reading, Oxford, and surrounding areasResponsibilitiesDeliver first-class on-site service and product support to customers.Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs remotely and on-site, in line with ISO9001 standards.Plan and deliver both internal and customer training sessions.Investigate and resolve technical issues, warranty claims, and in-field failures.Ensure efficient resolution of issues while keeping stakeholders informed.Complete service documentation and administrative tasks to a high standard.Working on a 1 in 4 weekends rota. Be part of the out-of-hours call rota when required.Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with customers.Key Skills & ExperienceElectrical qualifications essential (ONC, OND, HNC, HND or equivalent).Strong mechanical competence - ideally cross-disciplinary skill set.Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.Competent with computer systems and service software.Self-motivated, with strong time management and planning skills.Able to represent the company professionally in the field.This role offers a mix of technical challenge, autonomy, and customer interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys field-based work and problem-solving.ACS are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer.
