An exciting opportunity has arisen for a remote-based Service Engineer within our Industrial Service Group.

Within our Industrial Service Group, the role will mainly focus on the service requirements of dust collection equipment, with additional responsibilities for our compressed air, process filtration, and other Donaldson filtration equipment.

Description

The successful candidate will be eager to work closely within a team, committed, and driven to develop and progress within their role and potentially within the company long-term.

The primary responsibility for this role will be in the East of England, so candidates should have a suitable base location, e.g., Cambridge, Ipswich, or Luton. The role involves daily travel within the primary area, with occasional travel across the UK/Ireland and to our Head Office in Leicester, including overnight stays depending on work location.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Adhering to strict Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting and undertaking all service-related activities within your region, with potential nationwide support to colleagues.
• Arriving at customer sites promptly, professionally, and safely.
• Identifying opportunities for service upgrades, spare parts, and aftermarket care.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.

Your Profile:

You should work well both independently and as part of a team, maintaining professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate will learn quickly, be proactive, and have a keen eye for opportunities. A friendly, hardworking attitude with a positive approach would be a good fit for this role.

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Responsible attitude with health and safety awareness
• Technical background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
• Experience in field-based service activities, preferably related to filtration, is advantageous.
