Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be supporting clients across the North of England, visiting customer sites to carry out maintenance, repairs, and operator training on specialist equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to support your travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair hydraulic, electrical, and battery-powered machinery
Commission new machinery and train end users on safe and effective operation
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
Liaise with internal teams to prioritise workload and report service activity
Accurately complete documentation and manage admin tasks effectively
Use digital systems to plan and record service schedules
About You:

Proven experience in field service or mechanical/electrical maintenance
Solid understanding of engineering principles and machinery repair
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft Office
Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently
Full UK driving licence is essential
