We are seeking a highly discreet and experienced Finance & Accounts Private Manager to support a UHNW principal and their Chief of Staff. This is a high-trust, multi-functional role with responsibilities across finance, legal coordination, tax compliance, and private household operations.
You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring smooth financial management and governance across the principal’s personal affairs, assets, and lifestyle holdings (including properties, jet, yacht, and staff). Ideal for a capable, self-directed professional who thrives in private or family office environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee personal finance and household accounts, including
- Bill payments, bank reconciliation, payroll, and budget tracking
- Financial reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Spending reviews and budget updates with the principal
- Coordinate legal and contractual documentation
- Manage contracts, NDAs, renewals, and signature processes
- Monitor tax jurisdictions, residency requirements, and ensure HMRC compliance
- Manage documentation for visa applications and basic HR onboarding/admin
- Support the Chief of Staff in managing external advisors (accountants, lawyers, tax specialists)
- Assist in the oversight of budgets for properties, private jet, and yacht
- Provide additional admin support as needed across private affairs
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a private office, UHNW household, or family office role
- Strong financial literacy: budgeting, payroll, cash flow reporting
- Experience managing contracts and legal admin (liaising with legal counsel)
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction tax residency and compliance
- Basic understanding of UK visa/HR processes
- Highly discreet, proactive, and able to work independently
- UK-based with full UK work rights
Preferred Backgrounds
- Finance Manager or Legal Assistant in a private or family office
This is not a corporate finance role — candidates must have prior experience supporting private individuals or households

Qualifications sought
- Finance/Accounting - AAT / ACCA / CIMA (part/full) - Strongly preferred
- Legal/Admin Knowledge - Experience-based or paralegal - Important
- HR/Visa Knowledge - Experience-based or CIPD (L3+) Useful
