Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services

Act as the bridge between finance and IT, reporting to the Operations Finance Director and collaborating closely with the Head of IT. Support the IT department in achieving its financial objectives through budget setting, forecasting, project reporting and cross‑departmental stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Simplify finance processes and build new reports to ensure central function leaders and the Operations Finance Director receive high‑quality, timely data and analysis.
  • Work with head functions, Procurement, and HR Business Partners to drive business performance.

Monthly reporting packs

  • Produce and review monthly reporting including monthly forecasts.
  • P&L reviews with Finance Director.
  • Balanced Scorecard.
  • Monthly Budget Holder performance reviews, e.g. cost centre reviews.
  • Further improve, automate and simplify MI production.

Lead & carry out monthly Forecasting and annual budgeting

  • Liaise with India and IT to enhance models as per the Operations Finance Director and central function heads.
  • Enable monthly reviews with cost centre/functional cost owners to assess actuals and forecast cost requirements.

Projects

  • Support IT business case preparation and capitalisation decisions.
  • Produce IT project reporting to review project performance.

Experience

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Competent/strong in Excel.
  • Good organisational skills and a focus on timely deliverables.
  • Highly numerate with attention to detail, able to convey complex problems clearly.
  • Positive, enthusiastic influence driving business towards goals.
  • Understanding of IAS 38.
  • Experience in IT or related cost‑management, preferably from practice.
  • Familiarity with multiple ERPs desirable.
  • Willingness to grow and advance; not all requirements are mandatory for early starters.
