An established organisation in the public sector housing industry is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within the Finance & IT team. The role is responsible for key financial processes, accurate reporting, and maintaining the financial performance of the organisation.

Base pay range

• Salary of £45,000 - £48,000
• Hybrid working - office and home flexibility (1 day minimum in office)
• 34 days annual leave (including public holidays)

Responsibilities

• Line manage Finance Assistant(s)
• Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset register
• Deliver monthly management accounts and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing processes
• Monitor bank accounts, cash flow, and reconciliations
• Assist with budget monitoring and statutory accounts preparation
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance team

Candidate Requirements

• AAT qualified, equivalent professional qualification, or 5 years relevant experience
• Experience working in a finance team, meeting deadlines, and using financial systems
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues
• Experience preparing statutory year-end accounts
• Knowledge of the housing sector
