Finance Business Partner – Associate Director

£65,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you a commercially driven Finance Business Partner who loves translating numbers into meaningful insight? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, acquisitive group within the specialist manufacturing and services sector. The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping financial performance across multiple business units. With a recent string of acquisitions and continued expansion, this is a fast‑paced, evolving environment where your influence will genuinely shape outcomes.

You’ll work closely with Managing Directors and operational leaders across the UK, acting as a trusted commercial partner challenging assumptions, improving visibility, and driving performance. The role will be primarily based in Halesowen, with travel to sites across the South of England approximately once per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business strategy.
  • Deliver insightful financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning to support bids, tenders, and commercial decision‑making.
  • Consolidate and interpret data across multiple ERP and reporting systems, driving consistency and improved reporting standards.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools using Power BI to enhance business insight and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Managing Directors and senior leaders to influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Provide commercial support on contracts, pricing, and business case development.
  • Support post‑acquisition integration activities, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, process improvements, and value creation.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.
  • Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Confident working with multiple systems and leveraging tools such as Power BI for better decision‑making.
  • Commercially astute, proactive, and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Flexible to travel weekly to other sites across the South of England.
