Overview

Finance Business Partner | East Leeds | Up to £55,000 DOE. This is a permanent role based in East Leeds with hybrid working on offer. You\'ll typically spend two or three days in the office, the rest at home.

As a finance business partner, you\'ll be the link between the figures and the people who need to act on them. You\'ll work closely with operational managers, helping them understand performance, spotting where margins can be improved, and providing financial insight that shapes decisions.

Day-to-day, you\'ll own the month-end process for your business units, pull together budgets and forecasts, and provide a clear picture of where things are headed. You\'ll also work on analysis projects that highlight opportunities and risks. This is not a back-office role — your work will directly impact how the business moves forward.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end process for designated business units, including budgets and forecasts.

• Identify opportunities and risks through analysis projects.
• Collaborate with operational managers to understand and drive margins.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or nearing qualification (or equivalent commercial experience).
• Experience in a commercial environment; comfortable challenging stakeholders and presenting financials in plain English.
• Experience as a finance business partner or in management accounts with readiness to step up into a forward-looking role.
