Recruitment Consultant - Finance and Procurement Specialist I’m currently working with a leading UK university on the search for a Finance Business Partner on a 6-month basis. This role is based in the South of England with hybrid working available. You will work closely with senior leaders, key stakeholders and the wider Finance team to shape and deliver financially sustainable plans aligned with the University’s strategy. Acting as a trusted adviser, you’ll provide insight, analysis, and challenge to ensure effective decision-making, while managing a small finance team and overseeing all financial activities within your faculty or professional service. Experience Required:

CCAB qualified accountant with proven experience in a large, complex organisation. Strong technical accounting knowledge, with excellent IT and complex financial modelling skills (especially Excel). Experience in budgeting, forecasting and full economic costing of projects. Proven ability to interpret and present large financial data sets to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and action-oriented way. Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues confidently to senior colleagues. Experience of constructively challenging budget holders and driving financial accountability. Excellent analytical skills, with a proactive approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
