Simpson Judge is partnering with a leading global firm in the financial services sector, known for its strong international presence and expertise in complex risk and insurance solutions. This is a strategic finance role supporting workforce planning and HR-related investment decisions, bridging Finance and HR to provide insight and analysis that drive cost efficiency, budgeting, and organisational design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business units to align financial planning with workforce strategy
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for people-related costs (salaries, benefits, training, bonuses)
  • Develop dashboards and reports on workforce trends and productivity
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across HR spend
  • Support business cases for HR initiatives with financial modelling and ROI analysis
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance
  • Present financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Experience in finance business partnering, ideally with exposure to HR or workforce planning
  • Insurance experience is highly beneficial
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Planning)
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus
