We are seeking an individual who will deliver top-notch finance business partner support and strategic insights to enhance Manufacturing costs and performance, ultimately driving our company’s broader goals and achievements.

Working pattern: Weetabix Wednesday, where everyone comes into the office for some great collaboration and meetings — it’s a must! The Recipe (About the Role)

Responsibilities

  • Close management of Manufacturing Labour spend, including weekly reporting.
  • Provide insight and support on Manufacturing Waste figures.
  • Provide insight & challenge into the periodic performance of Manufacturing Overheads spend vs budget/forecast (Factory & Central).
  • Preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities. Mitigating financial risk and exploiting opportunities.
  • Support & Stakeholder key business partners in the management of their budgets.
  • Driving continuous improvement in relation to the accuracy and efficiency of processes.
  • Development of financial tools to aid decision making & insight.
  • Cost modelling of plant capacity to align with changing sales patterns/changing plant performance using our Integrated Business Planning process (IBP process governs how we manage differences between supply and demand of our products).
  • Possess analytical, data management, problem-solving and MS Excel skills.
  • Experience in the preparation of Management accounts.
  • Experience of working & communicating with key stakeholders, specifically those without finance backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • Qualified or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
  • FMCG, retail or food / other manufacturing background.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
