Harmonic is delighted to be working with a rapidly scaling SaaS business to appoint a Finance Director on a remote-first basis, with visits occasional visits to London.

Backed by a leading Private Equity fund and having reached £25m ARR, they are entering an accelerated growth phase and preparing for a planned exit in 1‑2 years. With established channel partnerships across the industry and a high calibre leadership team, the business is well positioned for significant value creation.

The Role

This is a high-impact, hands‑on finance leadership role. You will drive strategic finance, commercial performance and PE governance while building scalable financial infrastructure. Working closely with the CEO and investors, you’ll lead forecasting, value‑creation initiatives and exit readiness, ensuring world‑class reporting and strong commercial execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead forecasting, financial planning and performance management
  • Deliver PE‑quality monthly reporting packs and KPI dashboards
  • Own the value‑creation plan and drive EBITDA expansion (pricing, cost, efficiency)
  • Prepare for exit: FDD, QoE support, data room and investor‑grade models
  • Partner with Sales, Product and Operations to drive budget discipline
  • Strengthen channel economics and provide partner‑level reporting
  • Own accounting, tax, treasury, controls and working capital
  • Improve systems, BI automation and scalable processes
  • Develop and lead a small, high‑performing finance team

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Senior finance leadership in PE‑backed tech or high‑growth B2B SaaS or subscription business
  • Experience in transaction processes (FDD/exit readiness)
  • Strong commercial finance skills (pricing, margins, forecasting)
  • Calm, credible and composed with investors and partners
  • Hands‑on operator comfortable with pace and detail

What we would like to see (Bonus):

  • Experience building BI dashboards or automated reporting
