Overview

Little Red Rooster is looking for a highly capable Finance Manager to take full ownership of the agency’s day-to-day finance operations. This is a hands-on role covering everything from invoicing and balance sheet reconciliations to management accounts, budgeting and cashflow forecasting.

Hybrid – 4 days per week at our Reading HQ, 1 day working from home

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing all aspects of day-to-day finance, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Preparing management accounts, cashflow forecasts and reports to the SLT and CEO/Founder.
  • Leading on budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns and corporation tax compliance.
  • Drafting and managing client and supplier contracts to ensure value and compliance.
  • Acting as a trusted finance partner to operational teams and leadership.

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Solid finance management experience, ideally in a professional services or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Xero or a similar system, with strong Excel skills.
  • A clear communicator with a sharp eye for detail and a commercial mindset.
