Hybrid – 4 days per week at our Reading HQ, 1 day working from home

Little Red Rooster is looking for a highly capable Finance Manager to take full ownership of the agency’s day-to-day finance operations. This is a hands‑on role covering everything from invoicing and balance sheet reconciliations to management accounts, budgeting and cashflow forecasting.

You’ll play a vital role in providing accurate, timely financial information to support confident decision‑making across the Senior Leadership Team and CEO/Founder. You’ll also work closely with a Finance NED (2 days per month) providing CFO‑level insight and guidance, ensuring the finance function supports the agency’s continued growth.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident, proactive and detail‑driven — someone who loves getting stuck in but can also see the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of day‑to‑day finance, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and reconciliations.
• Preparing management accounts, cashflow forecasts and reports for the SLT and CEO/Founder.
• Leading on budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns and corporation tax compliance.
• Drafting and managing client and supplier contracts to ensure value and compliance.
• Acting as a trusted finance partner to operational teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Solid finance management experience, ideally in a professional services or agency environment.
• Proficiency in Xero or a similar system, with strong Excel skills.
• A clear communicator with a sharp eye for detail and a commercial mindset.
