A leading global business is seeking a Finance Contractor to support a major pensions project.

This is a contract role offered on a flexible basis, with options for some remote working and part-time or full-time work

Responsibilities

  • Lead the buyout of the UK Defined Benefit (DB) scheme, ensuring smooth stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee the assessment and potential closure of the DB scheme.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Support broader pensions activities.

Profile

  • You will have a strong financial background and experience working on pension projects, particularly those involving the buyout of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes and the assessment of scheme closures.
  • Previous project experience in this area is essential, including a proven track record of collaborating with key stakeholders such as lawyers, advisers, and trustees to deliver successful outcomes.

Job Offer

  • Duration: 9-12 months
  • Working Arrangement: Flexible - open to part-time or full-time engagement
  • Location: Can be mainly remote, site expectations can be as little as every other week
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term contract or day-rate engagement will be considered
