Finance Systems Manager (UK - Fully Remote)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to lead the development, enhancement, and support of their financial systems – with a primary focus on Aderant. As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll work cross-functionally with IT, vendors, and business users to ensure their systems are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with both regulatory and business needs. The Role

• Be the go-to expert for all Aderant and finance system queries
• Maintain system integrity, security and compliance with relevant regulations
• Lead and manage system upgrades and implementation projects, including a major Aderant upgrade to Sierra (AWS cloud-hosted), planned for early 2026
• Deliver technical fixes and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and external vendors
• Develop and deliver user training and documentation to support optimal system usage
• Manage data migrations, reporting, and compliance reporting needs
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support business intelligence initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in a similar role, ideally within a professional services environment
• Deep understanding of Aderant and legal finance systems
• Experience with system configuration, upgrades, integrations, and support
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools such as SSRS Report Builder and Power BI
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Accountancy/bookkeeping qualification or equivalent experience
